Megan's Lodge is set in the grounds of my own home, secured by electric gates. remote zapper given upon arrival. Being a delightful warm & cosy Non Smoking Cottage it is the perfect retreat for couples of any age. Although it is within the grounds of my home it is totally private with no other neighbours. Megan's Lodge is double glazed with central heating. The open plan living is furnished to a very high standard to make your stay a real home from home experience, with a well equipped Kitchen and Dining area. Lounge area with a comfortable sofa plus club chair, remote contolled TV,DVD,CD Player & Speakers. The firplace with remote controlled log effect fire for those cooler evenings. If you arrive late & tired tea, coffee, milk etc are provided plus a few surprises! The cosy but spacious bedroom is upstairs where a super king size bed awaits you. The bathroom with bath and shower is downstairs off the hall.

Small stoned patio with table, chairs, umbrella,Weber Charcoal BBQ overlooking countryside.
Washing line.
Area to wash down wetsuits & boards & leave to drip dry under cover.
Secure dry area to leave bikes.

Jay-be folding single bed with wooden sprung slates and air flow mattress available, for child from 9yrs in bedroom with parents on request with small charge for extra bedding and towels.
Waitrose is within few minutes drive and will also deliver your groceries.
Holsworthy is a historic market town mentioned in the Domesday Book as having been part of the estate of Harold Godwinson.
Megan's Lodge is set in lovely countryside on the North Devon/Cornwall border 8miles from the golden sands of Bude with it's expansive beach. The pretty coves of Crackington Haven, Port Issac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow and Newquay in Cornwall and Clovelly, Bideford and Barnstaple in North Devon are all close by.
A great day out at the Eden Project &Truro are both within an hour.
Coastal walks along the North Devon/Cornwall Coastal paths are but 15 mins away.
Country walks across Dartmoor & Bodmin Moor are about 40mins away.
Bude, Holsworthy and the surrounding villages have a varied choice of lovely Restaurants with Rick Stein at Padstow and Jamie Oliver in Newquay.
Golf, Fishing, Sailing all nearby.

The popular north Cornwall seaside resort of Bude sits at the mouth of the River Neet. Facing the Atlantic Ocean it has two large, sandy, beaches (Summerleaze and Crooklets) which provide for good surfing in the right conditions, as do a number of other beaches nearby, including Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Bay.
The town has a number of shops, tennis courts, pitch and put and other amusements, and there are a number of points of interest including Bude Canal which runs into the harbour area, and once used to connect Bude with Launceston. The railway station which brought visitors from London on the Atlantic Coast Express is now closed, as with the branch line to the town, so transport facilities today are restricted to car and bus access, but the A39 ‘Atlantic Highway’ makes for easy access to and from other parts of Cornwall.
As well as being a great location itself for a family holiday, Bude is also a good base for exploring the north Cornwall coast, and for paying visits to other great Cornish locations such as Boscastle, Tintagel, and Padstow. With good accommodation available both in the town and in the surrounding villages visitors are sure to find somewhere ideal to stay, especially with the range of choice of cottages and holiday lets in Bude which are provided for search and comparison at Go2.
